Our Family

Heart & Soul Catering is more than a full-service caterer. We’re partners in creating unique and memorable evenings filled with electrifying flavors, bold displays and rich memories as you celebrate the special moments in your life.

Food is our passion and imagination is our specialty. Our goal is simple: create a custom menu of delicious, gourmet food at a price that will meet your budget. And for 15 years, we have done just that for thousands in the Memphis area. It’s that personal touch that keeps our customers coming back. We give you our very best, then we strive to give you more.

Few Memphis caterers can say they make everything from scratch. But at Heart & Soul we do. Using our savory blend of hickory and apple wood flavors, we create mouth-watering flavors making our albacore tuna, salmon, catfish, wild game and traditional meats some of the best in the area.

We are also proud supporters of the Memphis community, serving as a member of the Lipscomb Pitts Breakfast Club, a team of partner businesses working together to impact the community. We also support the Memphis arts community including the Germantown Performing Arts Center, Opera Memphis and Playhouse on the Square and our local natural resources through the Wolf River Conservancy.

“When you create high-end, top quality food and your prices are fair, people come back again and again. We have some of the most loyal customers in the business. That's our secret to success." ~ Co-owner and Chef, Chuck Goldstein

Chuck grew up in Southern California where he honed his culinary creativity from his parents’ eclectic tastes. Chuck’s wife, Marci, grew up in Memphis where she learned cooking from one of the best ethnic food chefs in the city: her mom.

After running a successful Memphis restaurant, Chuck and Marci moved to catering in order to expand their eclectic tastes and to bring their unique menus to people on a personal level.

Chef Michael Francis grew up watching watching his mother and grandmother prepare classic southern cuisine while watching Julia Child every day on PBS. A graduate of the Florida Culinary Institute, Michael has run restaurants, served as a research and development chef and been a chocolatier. He enjoys fusing cuisines such as Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Caribbean, French, Italian, Spanish and, of course, Southern American, to create something new, exciting and always delicious.

“You’re not a number or a client,” Michael says. “You’re family. I want the best day of your life to be the very best day of your life.”

At Heart & Soul Catering, it’s not business. It’s personal.
